The district administration has imposed a ban on public recreation at picnic points during Eid. In light of the law and order situation, Section 144 has been enforced in Quetta and surrounding areas. According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Quetta, the ban applies to the city’s recreational spots. The notification states that due to the tense security situation, the Balochistan Home Department has implemented Section 144, which restricts citizens from visiting specific recreational areas.
Under the ban, locations such as Hanna, Hanna Orak, Karkhsa, and Shaban, among others, are prohibited for sightseeing and recreation. The administration has stated that this decision was made for the protection of citizens, and legal action will be taken against violators.
