President Asif Ali Zardari has appointed five new members to the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
According to an official notification from the Establishment Division, one member has been appointed from Islamabad and each of the four provinces for a four-year term.
The newly appointed members include Dr. Rashid Wali Janjua (Islamabad), Ayesha Ayub Wadood (Balochistan), Sabahat Rafiq (Punjab), Haider Naqvi (Sindh), and Iftikhar Firdous (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).
These appointments will take effect from March 11, 2025.
