In a shocking revelation, former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser alleged that PTI MNA Amir Sultan from Jhang was kidnapped last night, amid escalating political tensions in the country. Qaiser expressed grave concerns over the deteriorating situation, suggesting that the government is resorting to force and coercion to implement its decisions and switch party loyalties.
“The kidnapping of our MNA is a stark reminder of the dangers that our party workers and leaders are facing,” Qaiser said in a statement. “We hold the government responsible for the safety and security of our members.”
Qaiser accused the government of using strong-arm tactics to silence political opponents and maintain its grip on power. “The recent judicial decisions have exposed the government’s intentions to manipulate the political landscape,” he said. “We will not be intimidated or coerced into submission.”
The PTI leader urged the Supreme Court to expedite decisions on electoral disputes, particularly regarding Form 45 and 47, which are crucial in determining the legitimacy of the elections. He also demanded the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner, accusing him of playing a pivotal role in the alleged fraudulent elections.
Qaiser emphasized PTI’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and constitutional governance, despite the growing unrest and rebellion against certain decisions of the establishments. “Our struggle will continue, and we will not retract from our stance,” he said. “Our MNAs should have the right to make decisions that reflect the aspirations of the people.”
The alleged kidnapping of Amir Sultan has sparked widespread concern among PTI workers and leaders, who are demanding immediate action from the authorities to ensure his safe recovery. The incident has also raised questions about the direction in which Pakistan is heading, with many warning against exposing the nation to potential dangers.
As the political situation continues to deteriorate, all eyes are on the Supreme Court to deliver justice and restore democratic norms in the country.
