In a media interaction outside Adiala Jail, Imran Khan’s lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, stated that his client was offered a deal in relation to the Toshakhana case.

Chaudhry described the Toshakhana case as part of a series of false cases against the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He expressed confidence that, just like the previous four rulings against Imran Khan, the decision in the £190 million reference case would also be in his favor.

The lawyer further revealed that Imran Khan condemned the sentence of former Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khalid Khurshid, and affirmed that PTI’s time had come, with no force able to stop it.

Chaudhry also disclosed that Imran Khan had been offered a move to Bani Gala but made it clear that he would not relocate until those imprisoned without trial were released.

On the ongoing negotiations with the government, Chaudhry mentioned that PTI was demanding the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the incidents of May 9 and November 26. The negotiations committee is also calling for the release of prisoners.

Chaudhry stated that a certain group is trying to sabotage the negotiations and urged that the PTI founder be granted access to meet with the negotiations committee after today’s meeting.
