Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned India’s unprovoked and cowardly attacks on five locations inside Pakistan, calling it a heinous and aggressive act that will not go unpunished, reported The COW News on Wednesday.
In a tweet, PM Shehbaz said, “The treacherous enemy has launched a cowardly attack on five locations within Pakistan. This heinous act of aggression will not go unpunished. Pakistan reserves the absolute right to respond decisively to this unprovoked Indian attack — a resolute response is already underway.”
The PM said the entire nation stands in solidarity with its armed forces, asserting, “Our morale and resolve remain unshaken. Our thoughts and prayers are with the brave officers and soldiers of Pakistan.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz emphasised that Pakistan’s people and its armed forces are fully prepared to confront and defeat any aggression, stating, “The enemy will never be allowed to achieve its malicious aims.”
The tweet was issued in the wake of Indian strikes across five points inside Pakistani territory — an escalation that has heightened regional tension.
