Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has reached out to his Pakistani counterpart, Ishaq Dar, in a telephone conversation to discuss the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. According to Iranian state media, the two ministers exchanged views on security concerns arising from the ongoing conflict between the neighboring countries.
During the conversation, Araqchi stressed the importance of preventing further escalation and urged both sides to take measures to avoid intensifying the situation.
Araqchi, who recently visited New Delhi, had meetings with India’s President, National Security Adviser, and Foreign Minister. Following these discussions, he expressed hope that the tensions between Pakistan and India would de-escalate in the near future.
