Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed plans to launch a new military operation in Gaza that would involve seizing control of the region and forcibly displacing Palestinian civilians.
In a video shared on social media, Netanyahu stated that the upcoming military campaign would be “more intense” than previous operations. He emphasized that the main goal of the operation is to dismantle Hamas, but he did not specify the exact areas of Gaza that the Israeli military intends to occupy.
During the operation, Netanyahu confirmed that Gaza’s population would be evacuated for their safety. “This time, the Israeli military will not simply enter Gaza, conduct operations, and leave,” Netanyahu explained. “Instead, the operation will be different, with a more sustained presence.”
The timing of the new military operation remains unclear, as Netanyahu did not specify when it would commence.

This announcement follows a recent decision by the Israeli government to approve the expansion of the ongoing military operation in Gaza. The Israeli Army Chief recently confirmed that thousands of reservists have been mobilized for the Gaza campaign.
Meanwhile, Israel has imposed a blockade on humanitarian aid entering Gaza for the past two months, exacerbating a dire food shortage in the region. As a result, nearly 300,000 children in Gaza are facing starvation, and over 3,500 infants are at risk due to a lack of baby formula and essential nutrition.
