According to a report by Hindustan.com, Vandana weighed 56 kilograms at the start, which was not medically excessive, but social perceptions and comments about her weight motivated her to take action. Seeking a simple and sustainable approach, she decided to abandon strict diets and consume only apples, increasing her water intake alongside.

During the month-long experiment, Vandana ate three apples a day, maintaining sufficient hydration. By the end of the month, her weight had reduced from 56 kg to 50 kg, while her energy levels remained stable.
