PESHAWAR( The COW News Digital)Pakistani researcher, journalist, and scholar Amir Ayub will represent Pakistan at the 5th International Conference on Media Science and Digital Communication (MSDC 2025), where he will present his groundbreaking research on the connection between human and artificial intelligence. The global conference will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 20–21, 2025.

Ayub will introduce his Human–AI Communication (HAiC) Model, a pioneering theoretical framework that redefines the understanding of interaction and meaning exchange between humans and artificial intelligence. The model has already garnered international recognition as one of the first comprehensive attempts to bridge the gap between traditional communication theories and the new realities of AI-mediated communication.

According to experts, the HAiC Model offers an essential contribution to the growing discourse on how humans and intelligent systems interpret, respond, and co-create meaning in digital communication spaces — marking a significant milestone in media and communication studies.

Despite facing financial constraints, Amir Ayub remained determined to present his research at the international platform. Although his request for financial support from the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was declined, the MSDC 2025 administration acknowledged the significance of his work and sponsored his virtual presentation by covering his registration fees.

“They told me my work deserves to be heard,” said Ayub. “Their support reflects how deeply the world values the understanding of communication between humans and AI. I feel both grateful and determined to continue this journey.”

MSDC 2025 is recognized as one of the leading international forums where global experts in media science, digital communication, and artificial intelligence gather to explore emerging technologies, ethical challenges, and the evolving landscape of human expression.

Ayub’s selection to present at this prestigious conference stands as a proud moment for Pakistan’s academic and research community. Previously known for his post-9/11 research on Pashtun representation in media, Ayub is now advancing his scholarly work at the intersection of technology, society, and communication theory.

“This is only the beginning,” Ayub added. “My next goal is to expand the HAiC Model through a PhD and contribute further to the global understanding of human–machine interaction.”

His participation at MSDC 2025 not only highlights Pakistan’s growing intellectual footprint but also symbolizes the resilience, creativity, and innovation of Pakistani scholars — inspiring young researchers to pursue excellence in the evolving digital world.
