In a significant escalation of military tensions between Pakistan and India, Pakistan has launched Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs (“Iron Wall”) and carried out precision strikes on multiple Indian military installations, including three major Indian airbases.
According to high-level security sources, the operation comes in direct response to recent Indian attacks targeting Pakistani territory, including civilian areas, airbases, and mosques. The strikes are being hailed as a decisive and powerful response aimed at neutralizing the origins of Indian aggression.
Among the most notable targets destroyed in the Pakistani offensive are:
- BrahMos missile storage facility in Beas, reportedly the launch site for earlier Indian strikes.
- Udhampur, Pathankot, and Adampur airbases, key operational hubs for the Indian Air Force.
- G-Top Brigade Headquarters, a vital command center.
- Uri supply depot, which played a major logistical role.
- Suratgarh and Sirsa airfields, both critical Indian military aviation points.
Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder jets, armed with hypersonic missiles, were instrumental in the destruction of these installations. Notably, the attack on Adampur also resulted in the elimination of an S-400 air defense system, valued at approximately $1.5 billion.
Sources confirm that the Pakistani military is continuing its campaign, successfully striking multiple high-value targets across India. The retaliatory action has been described as coordinated, strategic, and executed under a defensive military doctrine.
While no official statement has yet been issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), senior military sources indicate that the operation delivers a clear message to India: Pakistan will not tolerate violations of its sovereignty and will respond with full force.
Earlier, ISPR had warned India to “wait for our response,” following Indian airstrikes that targeted Noor Khan Airbase, Murid Base, and Shorkot Airbase. Pakistan claimed to have intercepted and neutralized these attacks, and also presented electronic evidence of the Indian missile launches.
The latest escalation follows the Pahalgam attack, after which Indian forces launched nighttime raids on Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Muridke, and Ahmadpur East, resulting in the martyrdom of 31 Pakistanis, including two children, and the destruction of two mosques.
In what is being seen as one of the most significant cross-border military operations in recent times, Pakistan’s Fatah-1 missile system was also used to strike multiple Indian targets. A new video circulating online shows a direct hit on the BrahMos storage site, with massive explosions and smoke plumes visible — evidence of the scale and precision of the strike.
Adding to the mounting pressure on Indian forces, reports confirm unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from Pakistan have been seen flying over Gujarat, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state, for the past several hours.
As the conflict intensifies, both nations stand at the edge of a broader confrontation. Pakistan, however, maintains that Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs is a measured, defensive response to unprovoked Indian aggression, and reiterates its commitment to protecting its national sovereignty, civilian population, and religious sanctities.
