National cricket team captain and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has expressed his reaction to Indian aggression, which has caused an uproar in India.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Rizwan said, “We have learned from Allah’s holy words that one should not initiate war, but if war is imposed on you, do not back down.”
Rizwan further emphasized, “Pakistan has been a victim of terrorism for a long time. Our generations have grown up hearing the sound of bullets and the echoes of explosions.”
He added, “The blood of martyrs is embedded in our soil, and even today, there are young men here who love death as much as others love life.”
Rizwan’s statement also conveyed a powerful message: “No one can defeat such a nation. Every war imposed on them only unites them, awakens them, and makes them stronger. This message is for all those who have the capacity to understand. We must stay determined, have faith, and neither commit injustice nor tolerate it.”
This statement comes amid escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, leading to the relocation of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 matches to Dubai. There are also growing concerns regarding the future of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to the heightened atmosphere.
