The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially released the schedule for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh, which will now consist of five matches as part of preparations for the ICC T20 World Cup.
Originally planned as a series featuring three ODIs and three T20Is, both cricket boards have mutually agreed to replace the One Day Internationals with two additional T20I matches to better align with World Cup requirements.
According to the new schedule, the first two matches will be played in Faisalabad on May 25 and 27 — marking the city’s return to hosting international cricket after 17 years. The remaining three matches will take place in Lahore on May 30, June 1, and June 3.
This expanded five-match T20I series is seen as a crucial part of both teams’ final preparations ahead of the global tournament, with emphasis on team combination and strategic fine-tuning.
