The Pakistan Army has given a “befitting response” to unprovoked firing by Indian forces across multiple sectors along the Line of Control (LoC), according to security sources.
Speaking to Express News, the sources revealed that Indian troops opened unprovoked fire on Pakistani military posts in several key sectors, including Nikial, Khuiratta, Sharda, Kel, Neelum, and Hajipir, during the night.
In response, Pakistani forces retaliated with full force, targeting Indian positions from where the firing originated. The military’s swift action was aimed at deterring further violations and safeguarding civilian and military assets along the border.
“Pakistan Army is fully prepared and determined to respond to any act of aggression by the enemy,” the sources affirmed, emphasizing that such provocations will not go unanswered.
Tensions along the LoC remain high, with recent incidents highlighting the fragility of the ceasefire agreement and the persistent threat of escalation in the region.
