Interior Minister Moazzam Naqvi accuses India of being involved in terrorism on Pakistani soil and offers evidence for unbiased investigation.
In a press conference held at the FIA district office, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Interior, Syed Mohsin Naqvi, proposed the formation of an impartial international expert committee to investigate the attacks in Pahalgam and Jaffarabad. Naqvi reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring transparent investigations into these incidents, which he claims were orchestrated by Indian intelligence agencies.
“The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) are essentially the same, and we have evidence of India’s involvement in terrorism across Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” Naqvi stated. He added that Pakistan was ready to present this evidence to a neutral investigative body to further the inquiry.
Naqvi criticized India’s ongoing interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs, stating, “India cannot tolerate Pakistan’s economic stability, and we need to show the world how the so-called ‘largest democracy’ uses terrorism to achieve its political objectives.”
He emphasized that Pakistan has no direct or indirect connection to terrorism, noting that Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir remains unchanged, and the issue should be resolved in line with UN resolutions. “The ongoing freedom movement in Kashmir is a local struggle, and the people of Kashmir are fighting for their rights,” Naqvi said.
Furthermore, Naqvi revealed that within the last three days, Pakistani authorities had successfully thwarted 160 IED bombings, underlining the ongoing threat posed by terrorism in the region. He pointed out that India has never condemned the terrorist incidents occurring on Pakistani soil.
Naqvi also raised concerns about the speed with which the First Information Report (FIR) was filed in relation to the Pahalgam attack, calling it “surprising” that an FIR could be registered within 10 minutes, given that the crime scene was typically sealed off for several hours. “We will expose this drama and make the world aware of the real facts,” he concluded, reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to revealing the truth behind these incidents.
