ISLAMABAD (The COW News Digital) A clandestine terror network backed by India’s intelligence agency RAW and top Afghan Taliban leadership is actively conducting attacks across Pakistan using regional proxy groups, intelligence sources revealed.
According to Pakistani security officials, the network utilizes Afghan territory as a launching pad to provide training, sanctuary, and financing for terrorist operations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Although Islamabad has long raised these concerns diplomatically and shared evidence-backed dossiers, both New Delhi and Kabul have consistently denied the allegations.
However, a classified intelligence document reviewed by The News reveals a fully operational arrangement between RAW, Afghanistan’s General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI), and senior Taliban figures. The primary proxy groups identified in this network include the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The document further discloses that Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has also been integrated into this framework to target Pakistani territory. Intelligence indicates that the operational nexus between the BLA and TTP was established around 2025, operating through GDI-supported training facilities located in Afghanistan to fuel domestic unrest and violence.
