Bollywood veteran Paresh Rawal has revealed an unusual method he used to treat a knee injury, claiming he drank his own urine as part of the healing process.
In a recent interview, Rawal shared that during the filming of Ghatak, he injured his knee while performing an action sequence. After the incident, he was rushed to the hospital for medical attention. Concerned about the impact on his career, Rawal expressed his fear that the injury might end his acting journey.
Rawal recounted that it was the late action director Viro Devgan (father of actor Ajay Devgan) who visited him in the hospital and advised him to drink his own urine on an empty stomach every morning for a quick recovery. According to Devgan, this was a common practice among fighters, and Rawal was assured it would have no ill effects.
Though initially skeptical, Rawal followed the advice, and he reported a rapid improvement in his condition.
This revelation has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with users sharing mixed opinions. Some praise it as an effective traditional remedy, while others deem it nonsensical and unscientific.
