World ( The cow news digital ) Dera Ismail Khan: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman has said that the writ of the state is nowhere visible in the country, raising serious concerns over law and order conditions in several regions.
Speaking to the media in Dera Ismail Khan, Fazlur Rehman stated that areas such as Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, and Tank are currently facing a worsening security situation. He said that instability and insecurity in these regions reflect a broader governance crisis.
The JUI-F leader emphasized that tensions are also rising along both the eastern and western borders of the country, suggesting that the overall regional environment is becoming increasingly volatile. He reiterated his party’s demand for an in-camera session of parliament to discuss the security situation in detail.
Fazlur Rehman further stated that a clear and unified national policy must be formulated at both domestic and international levels. He warned that the region is witnessing conflicts on multiple fronts, including ongoing instability in Iraq, Libya, and Iran, which he said are contributing to broader regional uncertainty.
He stressed the need for Pakistan to reassess its foreign policy priorities and consider aligning with what he described as an “Islamic bloc,” arguing that global power dynamics are shifting. According to him, the United States is no longer the uncontested global superpower it once was.
