JOHANNESBURG ( The COW News Digital)Cricket South Africa has officially unveiled the venues for the 2027 ICC One Day International (ODI) World Cup, confirming that the majority of matches will be played across the country’s top cricketing cities. The announcement was made during the formation of the Local Organizing Committee for the tournament.

Out of 54 scheduled matches, 44 will take place in South Africa, while the remaining 10 will be hosted by neighboring Zimbabwe and Namibia. Eight South African cities have been selected as official venues, showcasing the nation’s world-class cricket infrastructure. These include Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, East London, Paarl, and Kimberley.

The 2027 ODI World Cup will be jointly hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, marking a collaborative effort to stage one of cricket’s most prestigious events in Southern Africa.
