156 Flights from Pakistan to Middle East Canceled Amid Regional Tensions

At least 156 flights operated by various airlines from Pakistan to Middle Eastern destinations have been cancelled amid escalating tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States.

According to sources, a total of 22 international flights were cancelled at Allama Iqbal International Airport. Similarly, 18 international departures were called off at Islamabad International Airport, leaving a large number of passengers stranded and facing travel disruptions.

Authorities further confirmed that multiple flights bound for Middle Eastern countries were also cancelled from airports in Multan, Sialkot, Peshawar, and Quetta. In addition, several flights scheduled to depart from Jinnah International Airport to various Middle Eastern cities were suspended for the day.

Aviation officials stated that the cancellations were precautionary measures taken in view of the deteriorating security situation in the region. Passengers have been advised to remain in contact with their respective airlines for updated schedules and further guidance.
