From Karachi Airport, 20 flights bound for Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, and other Middle Eastern cities were canceled. Meanwhile, Islamabad Airport witnessed the cancellation of 28 flights to Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Muscat. Lahore Airport saw 18 flights suspended for destinations including Kuwait, Doha, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi.
Peshawar Airport had 16 flights to Doha, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi canceled, while Multan Airport canceled four flights to the Middle East. Sialkot Airport also suspended six flights heading to Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, and Bahrain. Faisalabad Airport remained operational with flights to the region unaffected.
The cancellations follow nearly three weeks of disruptions. Since March 1, 2026, a total of 1,822 flights from Pakistan to Middle Eastern destinations have been canceled, severely affecting passenger travel plans and international connectivity. Many travelers have been left stranded, while airlines are scrambling to adjust schedules and provide alternative arrangements where possible.
Civil aviation authorities have cited rising security concerns in the Middle East as the primary reason for these measures. The situation remains fluid, with further cancellations possible depending on developments in the region.
