According to U.S. media, invitations have been sent to board members for the scheduled meeting in Washington. The meeting will be hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump, members of the board, and the Gaza Executive Committee. President Trump serves as the Chairman of the Gaza Board of Peace.

Several key European countries, including the United Kingdom, France, and Norway, have declined to join the Peace Board, describing it as a move that challenges the authority of the United Nations. The stated objectives of the Board of Peace include the disarmament of Hamas and the reconstruction of Gaza.

While the official agenda of the meeting has not yet been made public, U.S. media reports suggest that the establishment of the Gaza Board of Peace is considered part of the second phase of the Gaza deal proposed by President Trump.

It is worth noting that 25 countries, including Pakistan, have already joined the Gaza Board of Peace. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister—who had initially criticized the initiative—has also expressed willingness to become part of the Peace Board.
