San Francisco(The COW News Digital) Google’s AI chatbot Gemini has reached a new milestone, surpassing 750 million monthly users, according to the company’s latest quarterly financial report. The surge highlights the growing global adoption of the platform and marks a significant step in the competitive AI landscape.

The report reveals that user growth accelerated significantly over the past three months. In Q3 of 2025, Gemini’s monthly user base was reported at 650 million, but the figure has now jumped to over 750 million, underscoring the rapid expansion of Google’s AI services.

While Gemini now leads Meta AI, which has roughly 500 million monthly users, it still trails its largest competitor, ChatGPT. Reports indicate that ChatGPT’s monthly active users had reached 810 million by the end of 2025, keeping it ahead in the global AI chatbot market.

The growth comes shortly after Google launched Gemini 3, which the company describes as its most advanced AI model to date. According to Google, the updated version offers enhanced analytical capabilities and can handle more complex tasks, positioning it as a next-generation tool for both casual users and business applications.

Philip Schindler, Google’s Chief Business Officer, stated that the company has focused not only on attracting free-tier users but also on converting them into subscription customers. “Our dual strategy of broad accessibility combined with premium subscriptions is yielding encouraging results,” Schindler said.

The milestone demonstrates Google’s strong foothold in the AI chatbot space and highlights the escalating competition among global tech giants. Analysts note that while user numbers are a key metric, the quality of interactions, versatility of applications, and integration with other services will ultimately determine long-term dominance in the sector.

As AI adoption continues to accelerate worldwide, Gemini’s rapid user growth reflects increasing reliance on conversational AI tools across education, business, and daily life, signaling that AI chatbots are becoming integral to digital experiences globally.
