After winning the toss, New Zealand opted to field first, giving India the opportunity to set a formidable total. India posted 255 runs for 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, with outstanding performances from Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, and Abhishek Sharma.

Sanju Samson scored 89 runs off 46 balls, equaling Shahid Afridi’s 17-year-old record, while Ishan Kishan contributed 54 runs from 24 balls and Abhishek Sharma added 52 runs in 21 balls. Shivam Dubey remained unbeaten with 26 runs off 8 balls, providing a powerful finish to India’s innings.
