Tehran(The COW News Digital)Iran has confirmed a series of coordinated attacks on US military bases across multiple Gulf countries, escalating tensions in the Middle East and raising international concerns.

According to regional media reports, Iranian forces targeted Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and Al-Salim Air Base in Kuwait. Additionally, strikes were confirmed at Al-Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain Naval Base in Bahrain. Explosions were also reported in Riyadh, with other blasts heard in Dubai’s Marina area.

The UAE’s official news agency reported that one person was killed in the missile strikes, while several Iranian missiles were successfully intercepted. The UAE condemned the attacks as a blatant violation of its sovereignty and international law and stated it reserves the right to respond to any aggression. Due to security concerns, parts of the UAE’s airspace were temporarily closed, with airlines instructed to provide accommodations for affected passengers.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told his Iraqi counterpart that Iran will continue its defensive operations and may target all US military bases in the region in response to hostile actions. In parallel, the head of Iran’s National Security Commission sent a warning to Israel, stating that future developments are now beyond Israel’s control.

The strikes follow heightened US-Israel-Iran tensions after prior Israeli attacks on Iranian positions, prompting Iran to retaliate. Reports also indicate that Yemen’s Houthi rebels have launched attacks on Israeli targets and commercial shipping routes, further intensifying regional instability.

Analysts warn that the attacks mark one of the most significant escalations in the Gulf since recent confrontations, highlighting the risk of a wider military conflict involving multiple nations. Governments in the region have urged civilians to stay updated through official channels, while security forces continue to monitor the situation.

The international community has called for restraint, with diplomatic efforts ongoing to prevent further escalation. Observers note that any additional strikes or retaliatory measures could have severe consequences for global trade and regional security.
