Til Aviv(The COW News Digital)Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has outlined key demands regarding the ongoing Iran-US negotiations, urging concrete steps to curb Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
Speaking from Tel Aviv, Netanyahu emphasized that Iran must dismantle its uranium enrichment capabilities. He called for the removal of enrichment equipment and related infrastructure, stating that the nuclear framework in Iran should be completely eliminated. According to the Israeli leader, he has already communicated to former U.S. President Donald Trump the need for decisive action to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program entirely.
In addition to nuclear concerns, Netanyahu highlighted the issue of Iran’s ballistic missile development. He insisted that the range of Iranian missiles be limited to 300 kilometers. The Israeli prime minister also noted that efforts to destroy tunnels in Gaza extending up to 500 kilometers have not been fully successful, underscoring ongoing security challenges for Israel.

Netanyahu’s demands come at a critical time as Washington engages Tehran in renewed discussions aimed at reaching a diplomatic resolution to Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Israel has consistently expressed concerns over regional security and the potential military and technological capabilities that Iran could acquire if left unchecked.
Analysts say Netanyahu’s statements are likely intended to influence both U.S. policy and the ongoing negotiations with Iran. Israel’s focus on uranium enrichment, infrastructure dismantling, and missile range limitations aligns with its broader strategy of maintaining a strategic security buffer against potential threats.
The Israeli leader stressed that any agreement with Iran must prioritize regional stability, prevent nuclear proliferation, and address Iran’s missile programs comprehensively. Failure to meet these demands, according to Netanyahu, would undermine both Israel’s security and broader Western interests in the Middle East.
While the U.S. has advocated for renewed talks and potential agreements with Tehran, Israel’s firm stance reflects its insistence on strict verification measures and enforceable limitations. Netanyahu’s position reinforces the ongoing tension surrounding Iran’s nuclear ambitions and the broader geopolitical balance in the region.
