Islamabad(The COW News Digital) Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has lauded Pakistan for its remarkable advancements in the defense sector, describing them as internationally recognized. Speaking alongside Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at a joint press conference, President Tokayev also praised Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and stability.
During the visit, President Tokayev extended an invitation to Pakistan to establish production plants in Kazakhstan, highlighting the potential for industrial cooperation. Both countries aim to achieve a $1 billion trade target, with enhanced collaboration in sectors such as Islamic financing identified as a key priority.
“Our countries share common values and traditions, which play a crucial role in strengthening bilateral relations. Pakistan is a reliable partner for Kazakhstan,” President Tokayev emphasized.
