Islamabad(The COW News Digital)Former US President Donald Trump has once again referred to the destruction of fighter jets during the India-Pakistan conflict, while outlining major plans to modernize the United States Navy with advanced technology and a new naval fleet.
Addressing a ceremony in the US state of Florida, Trump said he had played a role in stopping eight wars around the world, describing the confrontation between Pakistan and India as the most dangerous among them. He warned that if the conflict had continued, its consequences could have spread globally, given the nuclear capabilities of both countries.

Trump claimed that during the clashes in May, eight military aircraft were destroyed, underscoring the intensity of the fighting. While recalling the episode, he praised Pakistan’s military leadership and referred to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir as a highly respected and capable figure. His remarks once again drew international attention, particularly in South Asia, where tensions between the two neighboring states remain a sensitive issue.
In his speech, Trump also focused extensively on the strength and future direction of the US armed forces, especially the Navy. He said the United States possesses the most powerful naval force in the world and is taking further steps to ensure its dominance at sea. According to him, the US Navy is being equipped with cutting-edge technology to maintain its strategic advantage over global rivals.
Trump announced the inclusion of the world’s most powerful aircraft carrier into the US naval fleet, stating that the country had an urgent need for new and more advanced warships. He emphasized that naval modernization is critical for safeguarding US interests and maintaining global security.
Highlighting America’s capabilities in underwater warfare, Trump said US submarines are the most advanced in the world. He claimed that the United States is at least 15 years ahead of any other country in submarine technology, including China and Russia. According to him, no nation can compete with the US in terms of the sophistication and effectiveness of its naval assets.
The former president further revealed that 15 state-of-the-art submarines are currently under construction as part of a broader plan to establish what he described as a “golden fleet” for the US Navy. He said the modern fleet would significantly enhance America’s military deterrence and instill fear among its adversaries across the globe.
Concluding his address, Trump asserted that the US military possesses the finest weapons and defense equipment in the world. He maintained that the expansion and modernization of naval power would ensure continued American superiority and reinforce the country’s position as the leading global military force.
