Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, criticized these nations for their role in supplying weapons used in the attacks.
Albanese emphasized that the devastation in Gaza cannot be attributed solely to Israel. “The countries that provided arms and diplomatic support to Israel are equally responsible for the humanitarian consequences,” she stated. She highlighted that civilian areas, hospitals, schools, and vital infrastructure were severely damaged, and the responsibility for rebuilding lies with both the attacker and its facilitators.
