DOHA ( The COW News Digital) Pakistan has proposed the creation of an Arab-Islamic Task Force to monitor and respond to Israeli actions in the region, calling for a united and coordinated approach from the Muslim world.

Speaking at the meeting of Arab and Islamic foreign ministers in Doha, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the urgent need for collective action. “We have gathered once again to deliberate on the repeated and unlawful attacks by Israel on a sovereign brotherly state,” he said, referring to the recent Israeli strike on Qatar.

Dar condemned Israel’s actions, describing them as a blatant violation of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity. He stressed that the pattern of Israeli aggression poses a persistent threat to global peace and security, urging Muslim countries to take a united stand.

“The frequency of these meetings highlights the seriousness of the situation. The Arab and Islamic world must act collectively and decisively to stop Israeli violations,” Dar asserted.

The proposal for an Arab-Islamic Task Force aims to establish a joint mechanism to monitor Israeli activities, prepare diplomatic responses, and recommend countermeasures to protect the sovereignty of affected states. Pakistan also expressed full solidarity with the government and people of Qatar, appreciating Doha’s efforts in mediation and pursuit of a ceasefire.

Qatar’s Prime Minister also addressed the meeting, calling for a “strong and effective response” to Israel’s aggression. The Qatari leader emphasized that silence or delayed action could embolden Israel to continue its unlawful activities in the region.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to discuss the situation and explore ways to mobilize the international community. Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting peace efforts and defending the rights of Muslim nations under threat.

The meeting concluded with a renewed call for unity among Arab and Islamic countries and a pledge to intensify diplomatic, political, and humanitarian efforts to counter Israeli aggression.

This development signals a possible new phase of regional coordination against Israel, with Pakistan playing a leading role in mobilizing collective action through the proposed task force.
