Lahore( The COW News Digital)In a landmark development for Pakistan’s tech retail sector, Air Link Communication has officially announced that the country’s first Apple Store will open in Dolmen Mall, Lahore, by the end of 2025.
The announcement was made during the company’s latest corporate briefing session, which was attended by representatives from various financial institutions, including Topline Securities.
According to reports, alongside the Apple retail outlet, a Xiaomi store will also be launched at the same location, making Dolmen Mall a new hub for high-end technology retail in Pakistan.
This milestone follows Apple’s decision last year to appoint Air Link Communication as its “Premium Partner” in Pakistan. The partnership was established through GNext Technologies, Apple’s authorized distributor, to expand the brand’s organized retail footprint in the country.
Through this collaboration, Pakistani consumers will gain official access to Apple’s complete product range — including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches, and accessories — through certified retail channels, ensuring authentic products and after-sales services.
During the briefing, Air Link also revealed that it expects to receive a shipment of 10,000 Acer laptops by November 2025. These will arrive as completely built units (CBUs) as part of a pilot project. If the initiative proves successful, the company plans to begin local manufacturing of Acer laptops in Pakistan, marking another step forward for domestic technology production.
Additionally, Air Link disclosed that it is in talks with another major international smartphone brand to bring its manufacturing and distribution operations to Pakistan, though no formal agreement has yet been finalized.
Industry analysts believe that the opening of the first official Apple Store in Pakistan will be a game-changer for the country’s tech retail industry. It will not only enhance consumer confidence but also pave the way for global brands to invest and expand in Pakistan’s growing digital marketplace.
Experts further note that Apple’s official entry will help curb the grey market, promote standardized pricing, and offer premium customer service — aligning Pakistan’s retail technology ecosystem with international standards.
