Dubai, UAE (The COW News Digital) The Dubai Airshow 2025 has set a new benchmark in the global aviation industry, securing over $202 billion in deals, doubling the total from the 2023 edition. The record-breaking event, held in the United Arab Emirates, attracted aviation professionals, industry experts, and enthusiasts from around the world.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), more than 248,000 visitors attended the airshow, which is considered one of the largest aviation events globally. Over 1,500 exhibitors participated, including 440 first-time participants, reflecting the growing international interest in the UAE’s aerospace sector.

The event also drew military and civil delegations from 115 countries, totaling 490 delegations, highlighting the Dubai Airshow’s strategic importance on the international stage. The diverse attendance underscores the UAE’s role as a global hub for aviation, technology, and innovation.

Among the high-profile deals, Emirates Airlines signed agreements with Boeing to acquire 65 additional 777-9 aircraft and with Airbus to purchase eight A350-900 jets. These contracts alone are valued at approximately $41.4 billion, making them some of the most significant commercial aviation orders in recent history.

In addition to aircraft sales, the 2025 edition featured the largest-ever space pavilion in the airshow’s history. Organized in collaboration with the UAE Space Agency, the pavilion showcased the country’s expanding ambitions in space exploration and technology, drawing interest from international aerospace stakeholders.

Industry analysts note that the massive participation and unprecedented deals at this year’s Dubai Airshow signal strong growth and resilience in the global aviation sector.
