Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan to discuss bilateral cooperation and express gratitude for the Kingdom’s arrangements for pilgrims during this year’s Hajj. Dar highlighted the comprehensive facilities provided, ensuring a smooth and safe pilgrimage experience for Pakistani citizens.
Officials noted that over 1.83 million Muslims from across the world participated in this year’s Hajj, with Pakistani pilgrims receiving dedicated support in accommodation, transport, and health services. The meeting emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to maintain high standards and address any logistical challenges.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening diplomatic, cultural, and religious ties, ensuring that future pilgrimages are efficiently managed. Authorities also discussed measures to enhance communication, planning, and support for pilgrims before, during, and after the Hajj season.
