Washington(The COW News Digital) The White House has announced the members of the Gaza Board of Peace, established under former US President Donald Trump’s peace plan. The board is tasked with coordinating security, humanitarian aid, and reconstruction efforts in Gaza, while also facilitating reforms in Palestinian governance and administrative structures.

According to the White House, Major General Jasper Jeffers has been appointed as Commander of the Global Stability Force. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff, and the former president’s son-in-law Jared Kushner are also included as members of the board.

Arie Lightstone and Josh Grunbaum have been named senior advisers, while Nickolay Mladenov will serve as the executive member, acting as the high-level representative for Gaza. Additional members include former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, as well as Marc Rowan, Ajay Banga, and Robert Gabriel, who will contribute their expertise to board initiatives.

The Gaza Board of Peace aims to ensure coherence among security measures, humanitarian assistance, and infrastructure projects, while providing guidance for governance reforms within the Palestinian Authority. The initiative is considered a core component of Trump’s broader Middle East peace strategy, which emphasizes stability, development, and diplomatic engagement.

The White House statement highlighted that the announcement of the board members was part of Trump’s earlier promise to release the names promptly, signaling a continued focus on implementing elements of the peace plan. The board is expected to serve as a coordinating body between international stakeholders and local authorities, aiming to improve transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness in Gaza’s reconstruction and governance.

Analysts note that the establishment of the board may help streamline aid delivery and provide structured oversight for reform measures, though challenges in the region’s political environment remain. The inclusion of both political and business leaders suggests a multi-faceted approach combining governance, economic, and humanitarian perspectives.

The White House emphasized that the board will act as a strategic platform to bring together stakeholders, enhance cooperation, and support long-term stability in Gaza, in line with the vision outlined in Trump’s peace plan.
