World ( The cow news digital ) Tehran — Iran’s Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei has ordered all military units to halt operations following a ceasefire arrangement with the United States, while stressing that the current situation should not be interpreted as the end of the conflict.

In an official statement broadcast through state media, Iranian authorities confirmed that all branches of the armed forces have been instructed to immediately comply with the ceasefire order. However, the leadership emphasized that the country remains on high alert and fully prepared for any escalation.

Officials described the development as a tactical pause rather than a permanent resolution. “This is not the end of the war, but only a temporary break,” the statement said, highlighting that Iran’s military readiness remains unchanged despite the cessation of active hostilities.

The Supreme National Security Council also reiterated its hardline stance, stating that the ceasefire does not represent surrender or strategic withdrawal. According to regional media reports, Iranian officials warned that any violation or provocation would be met with a strong and immediate response.

“Our hands remain on the trigger,” the council reportedly said, underscoring that Iran is closely monitoring all developments and will respond decisively to any perceived aggression.

The council further stated that negotiations are expected to begin on April 10 in Islamabad, with discussions initially planned for a two-week period. Officials noted that the duration could be extended depending on progress in diplomatic talks.

Iranian authorities have described the ceasefire as a result of what they call a “retreat by the enemy on the battlefield,” framing the development as a strategic advantage rather than a compromise. They added that if negotiations lead to a political settlement, it would be considered a historic victory for Iran. However, they also cautioned that failure in diplomacy would result in a return to armed conflict.

The announcement comes amid heightened regional tensions and ongoing international efforts to stabilize the situation. While the ceasefire has temporarily reduced active fighting, uncertainty remains over whether it will lead to a long-term agreement.

Global observers continue to monitor the situation closely, as developments between Iran and the United States are expected to have significant implications for regional security and geopolitical stability.
