A video clip of the senior actress has recently gone viral on social media, in which she openly discussed her impressions of Dubai’s modern lifestyle and luxury-driven culture. Her comments have sparked debate among social media users, with mixed reactions emerging online.
During the conversation, Bushra Ansari said that whenever she visits Dubai, she begins to feel mentally unsettled due to the heavily branded environment. She remarked that everything in the city appears branded, from roads to shopping spaces, and highlighted what she perceives as excessive display of luxury.
She further commented on the appearance and lifestyle of people in high-end shopping malls, saying that luxury fashion, perfumes, and accessories dominate everyday visuals. According to her, even personal appearances often reflect artificial enhancements and exaggerated fashion trends, which she personally finds unrelatable.
The actress added that Dubai’s lifestyle does not attract her and that she has no personal desire to obtain a golden visa or settle there. She clarified that she only travels to the city when work requires it, otherwise she prefers to remain in her own practical and grounded lifestyle.
Bushra Ansari also stated that while Dubai and other Gulf cities such as Abu Dhabi are known for cleanliness, infrastructure, and development, she feels that too much focus has been placed on external beauty and luxury branding.
