National ( The cow news digital ) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir delivered a stern warning to Pakistan’s adversaries, asserting that any future aggression against the country would have “extremely dangerous, far-reaching, and painful consequences.” His remarks came during a commemorative ceremony at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, marking the first anniversary of the historic Maarkae Haq and Operation Bunyan-al-Marsous.

Addressing a distinguished audience, including Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu and Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Munir described the battle as a decisive confrontation between right and wrong, in which truth triumphed while falsehood faced humiliation. He paid tribute to all martyrs and veterans, especially civilians who lost their lives, including women, elderly citizens, and children, honoring their sacrifices as a national trust.

The Field Marshal highlighted India’s ambitions to destabilize Pakistan through military aggression and diplomatic isolation, noting that such plans exceed India’s capacity and would never succeed. He emphasized that Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national honor are non-negotiable, while Indian forces suffered significant personnel and financial losses during the conflict. Pakistan’s military, he said, successfully targeted over 26 strategic sites using precision missiles and air force capabilities.

Munir further underscored that modern warfare is evolving into multi-domain operations, incorporating long-range weapons, drones, cyber warfare, and artificial intelligence. To meet these challenges, Pakistan has established the Defence Forces Headquarters and strengthened strategic defense agreements, notably with Saudi Arabia.

The ceremony also included floral tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial and military salutes, reflecting the unity and preparedness of Pakistan’s armed forces. Across the country, citizens observed National Gratitude Day to honor the armed forces’ victory and commemorate their bravery.

In his messages, President Asif Ali Zardari lauded Munir’s leadership and decisive actions, while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reinforced that the nation would neither be intimidated nor subdued. Both leaders highlighted the professionalism and skill of Pakistan Air Force pilots, whose efforts were critical to operational success.

Field Marshal Munir concluded with a resolute message: Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant and fully prepared, defending the nation’s green flag and ensuring that its sovereignty and security remain inviolable now and in the future.
