World ( The cow news digital ) Iran Strikes US Military Facilities in Gulf Region Following US Attacks

Iran has claimed responsibility for a series of retaliatory strikes targeting American military installations across the Middle East following recent US military attacks, escalating tensions in an already volatile region.

In a statement released by Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, military officials said the operation was conducted in response to what Tehran described as American aggression. The statement warned that any further attacks by the United States would be met with stronger and more extensive military action.

According to Iranian authorities, several US military positions in the region were targeted during the operation. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported that recent US strikes caused damage to a telecommunications tower and two water storage facilities in southern Iran’s Sirik area.

The IRGC further claimed that a drone strike was carried out against the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet stationed in Bahrain. Iranian officials stated that defensive operations would continue as long as American military actions threaten Iranian interests and regional security.

Meanwhile, Russian media outlets reported that Iran had allegedly shot down a US MQ-9 Reaper drone in the Jask region. However, no official confirmation of the incident has been issued by US authorities.

Iranian media also reported missile strikes against the Al-Azraq military base in Jordan, where US forces are stationed. According to IRGC statements, four strategic targets were hit, including facilities used to house F-35 fighter aircraft and a command-and-control center. Iranian officials said long-range missiles were deployed during the attack.

In addition, Tehran claimed responsibility for a drone operation targeting Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. Kuwaiti military officials acknowledged heightened security measures and stated that air defense systems were actively monitoring and responding to potential threats within the country’s airspace.

The latest developments have significantly heightened concerns about regional stability, with fears of a broader military confrontation spreading across the Gulf and neighboring countries. International leaders and diplomatic organizations have urged all parties to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could further escalate the conflict.

As the situation continues to unfold, global attention remains focused on the Middle East, where rising military tensions threaten to impact regional security and international relations.
