Swabi— Heavy torrential rainfall across the Swabi district led to multiple structural collapses and severe flash flooding, resulting in the deaths of a father and daughter and leaving nine others injured. Emergency responders worked through flooded streets and debris to carry out operations across several affected villages.

The most severe structural collapse occurred in the Azad Khel area of Topi, where four individuals were trapped beneath heavy wreckage after a house roof caved in. Rescue 1122 personnel managed to extract two survivors alive, while recovering two bodies from the site. Additional building failures were reported near the Jarando Canal and Azam Abad Post, where rescue teams successfully evacuated several individuals to safety.

Simultaneously, intense precipitation triggered flash floods across Razar tehsil, inundating residential zones in Khamza Dher, Mansabdar, Managi, Turlandai, Landi Cham, Qamargai, and Dhandoka. Using inflatable boats and life jackets, emergency teams navigated high water levels to evacuate over 300 stranded residents—including women, children, and the elderly—to temporary safe shelters.

Under the direct supervision of District Emergency Officer Owais Babar and Emergency Officer Noman Khan, emergency units maintain a high state of alert across Swabi to respond to secondary incidents and assist affected communities.
