ISLAMABAD — Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan dismissed claims made by MNA Sher Afzal Marwat regarding jailed party founder Imran Khan’s alleged directives against his sister, Aleema Khan.

The clarification follows statements by Sher Afzal Marwat during a television appearance, where he claimed that Imran Khan, following a meeting with his sister Noreen Niazi, expressed dissatisfaction with Aleema Khan’s involvement in political activities. Marwat alleged that Imran Khan instructed party leadership to keep Aleema Khan away from political operations and street movements, questioning why she continued to participate in protest activities.

Marwat further claimed that the PTI founder expressed surprise over legal proceedings pursued in the Supreme Court, inquiring whether any political understanding had been reached and questioning comparisons drawn between him and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.

In response, Barrister Gohar rejected Marwat’s claims, characterizing them as fabricated and unfounded. He clarified that Imran Khan made no negative remarks regarding Aleema Khan, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, or the party’s central leadership during his meeting with Noreen Niazi.

Barrister Gohar reiterated that internal party matters remain unified under the guidance of the party founder and advised members to avoid public speculation regarding family members and internal leadership dynamics.
