MUMBAI(The COW News Digital)Bollywood stars Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar are set to reunite on the big screen after more than two decades, marking one of the most anticipated collaborations for fans of the iconic on-screen pair.
According to Indian media reports, the actors will share screen space in the upcoming film Welcome to the Jungle. Their last appearance together was in the 2004 action drama Police Force: An Inside Story, making this their first film together in 22 years.
Speaking to Indian media, Raveena Tandon expressed her excitement about working with Akshay Kumar once again. She also said it was a pleasure to reunite with actor Suniel Shetty and director Ahmed Khan, describing the experience as both enjoyable and nostalgic.
“We are like old friends,” Raveena said, adding that the cast members have known each other for many years. She recalled working alongside veteran actress Farida Jalal, who portrayed her mother in several films, including Ziddi. According to Raveena, returning to the set with familiar faces created a warm and comfortable atmosphere throughout the production.
Reflecting on Akshay Kumar’s journey in the film industry, Raveena praised his dedication and professionalism. She said he has always been a talented performer and believes his commitment to acting has only grown stronger over the years.
