Punjab Chief Minister inaugurated the ‘Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic’ today, aiming to provide affordable and accessible healthcare services to local residents. The clinic, named after former first lady and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz, will offer general medical checkups, diagnostic services, and basic treatments to underserved communities.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister highlighted the government’s commitment to improving public health infrastructure and emphasized that such initiatives are crucial for ensuring quality healthcare for all. Officials said the clinic will also run awareness programs on preventive care, maternal and child health, and vaccination drives.
Local residents expressed appreciation for the new facility, noting that it would reduce the need to travel long distances for medical services. The inauguration reflects the provincial government’s efforts to strengthen healthcare accessibility while honoring prominent political figures
