LAHORE — Hira Qaiser of Faisalabad was crowned the winner of Pakistan Idol Season 2 following a unanimous decision by the judging panel during the show’s grand finale.
The finale featured competitive performances alongside a special guest appearance by global music icon Atif Aslam. To mark the occasion, special screenings were hosted in cinemas across Karachi and Faisalabad.
Hailing from a middle-class background, Qaiser gained widespread recognition throughout the season for her vocal range and consistent stage presence. Speaking to media after her victory, Qaiser attributed her success to her parents’ support and prayers, stating she looks forward to pursuing her professional music career.
Legendary singer and Pakistan Idol judge Rahat Fateh Ali Khan praised the talent showcased during the season, highlighting the importance of platforms that provide exposure for emerging artists across the country.
