Tehran(The COW News Digital) Iran will not enter negotiations with the United States until its conditions are fulfilled, Iranian official Mohsen Rezaei has said, urging observers not to be misled by what he described as contradictory statements from US President Donald Trump.
Rezaei said Washington’s position on negotiations has appeared inconsistent, with Trump at times saying that the United States would not negotiate with Iran and, at other times, suggesting that talks could be possible. He argued that greater attention should be paid to Iran’s stated position rather than to what he characterized as changing remarks from the US president.
According to Rezaei, Iran’s position remains clear: there will be no negotiations with Washington unless Tehran’s conditions are met.
