Iran Warns US of Wider War if Attacks Continue

World ( The cow news digital ) Iran has warned that the nature of the ongoing conflict with the United States could change dramatically if Washington continues military strikes against Iranian targets over the next few days.

Major General Mohsen Rezaei, an adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, said Tehran would adopt a more aggressive military strategy if US attacks continue for another two to three days. He warned that Iran could move beyond a defensive posture and launch broader operations against what it considers hostile forces.

Speaking in an interview with Iranian state television, Rezaei said further American strikes could mark a turning point in the conflict. He claimed that Iran’s armed forces are prepared to respond with a full-scale military operation if attacks against the country continue.

Rezaei also accused US President Donald Trump of violating the terms of a previous understanding between Washington and Tehran, claiming that the agreement has effectively collapsed due to what he described as repeated American breaches.

According to the Iranian commander, alleged violations include the continued presence of Israeli forces in southern Lebanon, the establishment of alternative routes in the Strait of Hormuz despite what Iran considers its legal access, attacks on Iranian territory, and the failure to restore Iranian assets.

Rezaei claimed that the United States signed the framework agreement as part of a strategy to increase pressure on Iran and force Tehran to make concessions. He further alleged that after talks held in Islamabad, Washington pursued a policy of combining military pressure with negotiations.

The Iranian official said this approach had ended following what he described as US violations of commitments. He accused American forces of using a ceasefire period to strengthen their military capabilities but insisted that Iran’s armed forces remain prepared to respond to any aggression.

Meanwhile, Iran’s military issued a separate warning through state media, saying that if the United States continues targeting Iranian infrastructure, American companies operating in countries that allow their territory to be used for US military purposes could also become targets.

The latest statements reflect growing tensions between Tehran and Washington, with both sides issuing warnings and making claims about military actions. International observers have expressed concern that continued escalation could expand the conflict beyond the current battlefield and affect regional security.

No independent confirmation has yet been provided for several claims made by Iranian officials regarding military operations and alleged attacks. The situation remains closely monitored as diplomatic and military developments continue.
