World ( The cow news digital ) Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has stepped forward to support the ongoing student protests at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, calling their demand for systemic educational reforms entirely justified. Taking to social media, the actor urged all stakeholders to refrain from politicizing the issue, emphasizing that the matter remains strictly between the students and the education system.
Expressing his sympathies for those injured in recent clashes, Khan noted that while the demonstration began peacefully, it regrettably turned violent later. He offered his heart felt support to the affected youth and their families, acknowledging the severe distress caused by recurring paper leak incidents across the country.
“The genuine dedication with which these students are fighting for a better, educated India is commendable. This issue belongs solely to the students and the educational framework—it must not be given a political color,” Khan stated.
The high-profile endorsement comes as student groups and social activists continue their multi-week demonstration at Jantar Mantar under the banner of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), led by founder Abhijit Dipke. Renowned educationist and activist Sonam Wangchuk has also thrown his weight behind the movement, previously undertaking a hunger strike to draw national attention to the cause.
Protesters are demanding a thorough and transparent investigation into widespread irregularities in competitive examinations, including the NEET paper leak scandals. Key demands include strict action against culprits, structural reforms in the national testing mechanism, and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. With reports of police crackdowns and detentions escalating, the movement continues to draw widespread national solidarity.
