India’s ongoing water aggression against Pakistan has escalated as it has now closed the gates of the Sial Dam, following its previous action at the Baglihar Dam.
On Sunday, India began halting the flow of water from the Baglihar Dam into Pakistan, causing a significant reduction in the flow of water in the Chenab River. Following this, India also closed the gates of the Sial Dam.
In the last two days, India has reduced the water flow in the Chenab River by 35,600 cusecs, leaving only 5,300 cusecs of water flowing.

Indian media reports indicate that India may further escalate its water aggression by stopping the flow of water from the Kishanganga Dam, potentially reducing the flow in the Jhelum River as well.
Previously, on April 26, India had released a massive flood surge into the Jhelum River without prior notice, causing water levels to rise by 15 feet at the Chakothi location.
