The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Punjab Kings has signed a key player from Pakistan Super League (PSL) to strengthen their squad.
According to media reports, Mitchell Owen, who represents Babar Azam’s team Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL, has been added to the Punjab Kings squad in the IPL.
He joins the team as a replacement for all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who is injured, and has been signed for a sum of 3 crore Indian Rupees.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi had brought Mitchell Owen in as a supplementary player to replace South African cricketer Corbin Bosh, who left after his contract ended, leading to his inclusion in the IPL.
