GAZA / BEIRUT(The COW News Digital) Israel has once again violated the ceasefire agreements in Gaza and Lebanon, carrying out a series of fresh attacks that killed at least seven people, according to Arab media reports. The latest assaults mark another escalation amid fragile truce efforts and growing international concern over Israel’s continued military operations in civilian areas.

In Gaza, three Palestinians were killed in separate Israeli strikes across the enclave, with several others injured. Local rescue teams reported retrieving two more bodies from the rubble of a destroyed building in the western part of Gaza City. Civil defense officials confirmed that search and rescue operations are still underway in Khan Younis and other affected regions.

Since the implementation of the ceasefire, Israel has been accused of repeated and “serious violations” of the truce. Arab media reported that at least 236 Palestinians have been killed and more than 600 wounded since the fragile agreement came into effect last month. The cumulative toll from Israel’s ongoing military campaign in Gaza has now risen to 68,858 killed and over 170,000 injured, painting a grim picture of widespread devastation and humanitarian collapse.

Israeli forces have also intensified operations in the occupied West Bank, conducting house-to-house searches and detaining at least 21 Palestinians, including minors. Human rights organizations have condemned these actions as part of a broader campaign of intimidation aimed at suppressing resistance and displacing Palestinian families.

Meanwhile, tensions have spread beyond Gaza. In southern Lebanon, Israeli drones carried out a deadly strike on a moving vehicle, killing four people. The attack is being viewed as a direct violation of the Lebanon ceasefire arrangement, threatening to reignite hostilities along the Israel-Lebanon border. Lebanese officials have warned that continued Israeli aggression could unravel the tenuous calm and draw the region into a wider confrontation.

Despite repeated calls from international mediators and humanitarian agencies, Israel’s military operations show no sign of restraint. Analysts warn that the persistent breaches of the ceasefire risk derailing ongoing peace efforts, including today’s consultative meeting in Istanbul focused on the Gaza peace initiative.

The situation remains tense, with growing fears that renewed conflict could further destabilize the already volatile Middle East.
