Peshawar: 15 people were killed when armed men opened fire on passenger vehicles in the tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Armed persons opened fire on a convoy of vehicles going from Para Chinar to Peshawar in Karam district at a high point, as a result of which 15 people including a woman and a girl were killed.
According to police officials, 16 people, including 3 women, were also injured in the firing and were shifted to the hospital.
After the incident, the security authorities have cordoned off the area and started searching for the accused.
