Islamabad – The military has strongly defended its recently unveiled strategic “vision,” responding to criticism from various political and social circles. Officials described the initiative as essential for national security and development, emphasizing that it is designed to strengthen institutional efficiency and operational readiness.

In a statement, military spokespersons accused detractors of engaging in what they termed “digital terrorism,” claiming that online campaigns and misinformation are being used to undermine the institution’s credibility. “The narrative being spread is not only misleading but also threatens national cohesion,” the statement said.

Analysts note that while public debate is natural in a democratic society, tensions have risen due to the sensitive nature of defense and security policies. Authorities have reiterated their commitment to transparency while urging citizens and media to verify facts before spreading information.

The military affirmed that it will continue implementing its vision, despite opposition, to safeguard national interests
